Memories: Looking for My Heritage: Family Traditions: Roots of my Heritage shows a young woman searching the dusty attic for her roots and heritage. She is going through old family photographs, papers, boxes, and a trunk to find out about her past. Perhaps this is what all of us do when we search for our genealogy.
This painting won a First Prize for the State of Texas and a National Third Prize in the American Heritage Contest sponsored by NSDAR, 2003.
