Julien David Saks
My father, Colonel Julien David Saks (1906-1993), was Chemical Warfare Officer of the 12th Armored Division (Patton's Mystery Division) that captured the first bridge over the Danube, spearheaded Patton's drive to the Rhine, liberated Colmar, routed the enemy from Alsace-Lorraine, and liberated five concentration camps, all satellites of Dachau near Landsberg Prison, during WWII. Colonel Saks wrote "Indescribable Horror" and "World War II Experiences".
